"Floral Cameo on Blue Burmese" - Robin Spindler

This graceful ewer with an applied ribbed handle reflects the classic proportions of the Greco-Roman tradition. Robin's highly-detailed floral motif contains tiny raised pearls of enamel to create the look of a cameo. Accents in 22k gold add the finishing touches to this piece.

"Autumn Morn"

Memories of a perfect fall morning inspired Frances Burton to create the serenity of "Autumn Morn." A scenic country church with its perfect spire and a nearby shaded woodland stream enhance the blushing beauty of Burmese glass. Pure gold in the formula cause a pink glow to emerge from the creamy yellow background, creating a perfect palette for the golden tones of fall. Frances enhanced the scene with sparkling glass highlights that dance in sunlight.

"Verlys Birds Vase"

Stacy Williams was inspired by the touching beauty of two birds gracing a mould created by Verlys of France in a simple Asian design. In the 1930s, Verlys created moulds that are now recognized for timeless, elegant designs that appeal to both traditional and contemporary settings. The velvet surface of Aubergine is hand painted with cherry blossoms and sleek bamboo to enhance the Asian theme. Highlights in gold glimmer on the feathers of the birds, further emphasizing the depth of the pattern.

"Mosaic Vase"

A brand new shape continues the Mosaic art glass tradition begun at Fenton in the 1920s. The contemporary look is on trend for today's styles and is perfectly suited to the dramatic black glass layered with brightly colored chips. The glassmakers' artistry is heightened with the addition of thin threading strung randomly over the surface of the vase before it receives a mist of satin luster.

In response to many requests to complete the Seasons set in Favrene, we are offering the Summer & Winter vase. They were first made by the Verlys of America Company to replicate the appeal of fine French glass with deeply embossed designs. The Spring and Autumn vase in Favrene was offered by Fenton in 1998. "Caribbean Day"

Glass artisan Dave Fetty developed a special process to create this spectacular vase, capturing the essence of the sea and sky of the Caribbean. Multiple layers of crystal and powdered glass in white, blue and green are carefully combined by Dave to produce this dramatic result when the piece is blown in a paste mould to eliminate seams. No two will be exactly alike...but all be beautiful!

Frances Burton has created a touching tableau of a mother giraffe overseeing her playful child. This delightful companion to the "Elephant Walk" design for 2005 adds yet another dimension to sandcarved artistry. Fenton Connoisseur Collection "Ada's Feathered Purse"

Master craftsman Dave Fetty's love for his wife Ada inspired the creation of this delightful tribute - a graceful, feminine purse to cherish forever. The process begins with a core of Milk Glass covered with Celeste Blue glass. Black glass threads are then worked into the surface and carefully pulled to form the feathered appearance. Black glass edging is applied and worked by hand before a smooth handle of Celeste Blue glass is added to complete this extraordinary work of art.

"Dragonfly Delight" on Burmese

A delicate temple jar in diamond optic Burmese glass. Stacy Williams designed a colorful garden of wild roses suspended above the wings of a dragonfly against a blushed trellis. 24k gold leaf surrounds the jar's neck while the jar is topped with a handpainted lid encircled with a band of precious gold.

Warm rays of sun are captured in Topaz Amberina. As with Mulberry, critical steps are required to produce this unique color combination of gold Ruby and Topaz. Stacy Williams designed a meandering meadow of summer phlox basking in the glow of the solstice sunset.

Fenton Connoisseur Collection "Dahlia's" on Topaz Opalescent

Sweet dahlia blossoms surround this refreshing covered box handcrafted of sun-drenched Topaz Opalescent glass. Opalescent glass is struck before forming to create a yellow mist color that is soft and pleasing. Frances Burton's sweeping dahlia design is touched with 22k gold highlights. A Cobalt base complements this elegant selection.

Fenton Connoisseur Collection "Hanging Hearts" on Willow Green Opalescent

Dave Fetty and his team of skilled craftsmen have truly recaptured the magic of Fenton Art Glass from the 20's. To create this exceptional piece, a gob of Willow Green Opalescent glass is dotted with intense Cobalt Blue glass. During several re-heating processes, Fenton craftsmen use an ice pick to slowly pull the Cobalt into heart shpaes, and a pontil to pull threads of Cobalt through the hearts to give the pattern a vision of hanging hearts. A Cobalt base complements the 9 1/2" pitcher.

Royal purple glows with the richness of pure gold ruby and polished cobalt as the colors are fused together by the glassblower. The regal elegance of wild orchids is displayed in a striking design by Kim Barley. 22k gold highlights add to the richness of this majestic work of art.
